Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene on the road in Swynnerton – with the accident reported to involve a lorry and a car. A Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “Crews from Hanley and Stone are at a collision on A51 in Swynnerton. “The crash involves one lorry and one vehicle. One male casualty has been released by firefighters and is now on route to hospital by ambulance.” Inrix, the traffic data company, reports all blockages have been lifted, however residual delays remain.
