(TSX:SIM). Miner. Up two cents, or 5.26 per cent, at 40 cents on 23.02 million shares. The metals and mining sector was up 1.33 per cent at 267.27 points.Santonia Energy Inc. (TSX:STE). Oil and gas. Unchanged at $1.20 on 10.81 million shares.PMI Gold Corp. (TSX:PMV). Miner. Down 3.5 cents, or 8.64 per cent, at 37 cents on 8.32 million shares. The stock gave back some of its big gains a day after Asanko Gold Inc. TSX:AKG) announced Tuesday that it planned to buy PMI in a stock-swap deal that values the exploration and development company’s shares at just over 44 cents apiece, a 79 per cent premium to their 20-day volume-weighted average. Asanko stock fell 20 cents, or 9.8 per cent, to $1.84.Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Insurance. Up 50 cents, or 2.53 per cent, at $20.23 on 5.53 million shares.B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner.
