First Shane Warne faced defeat in his final match at home, and now comes a bitter controversy. The Jaipur captain in the IPL’s fourth edition may not get a royal farewell at all. The Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) has lodged a complaint against the Aussie legend with the BCCI and the IPL. According to the RCA, the Jaipur skipper publicly abused its secretary Sanjay Dixit for not acceding to his request of a suitable pitch in Jaipur. Jaipur had slumped to a humiliating nine-wicket defeat against Bangalore in their last home match on Wednesday. This was the fourth defeat on the trot for Warne’s team. RCA venue director Narendra Joshi, too, has complained to IPL bosses alleging that Warne had publicly abused Dixit by calling him “a liar and egoistic”. According to sources, Jaipur owner Shilpa Shetty intervened and apologised for the incident. Dixit also filed a separate complaint and had urged the BCCI and IPL to take stern action against Warne. According to the sources, Dixit has forwarded text messages to BCCI which Warne had repeatedly sent him demanding a suitable pitch. The Jaipur skipper believed that RCA had robbed his team of the home advantage. However, after Mumbai captain Sachin Tendulkar’s criticism last month, the BCCI intervened to ensure Jaipur prepares a new strip for the remaining IPL matches at the ground.

, Military officials searching for owners of abandoned boats off Naval Base Coronado shore January 25, 2018 Posted: January 25, 2018 CORONADO (KUSI) — Military officials are searching for the owners of eight boats that washed ashore on Naval Base Coronado during the rainstorm earlier this month. The unclaimed boats include several sailboats and larger vessels as well as smaller ones.Navy officials say it’s imperative the boats be removed from the beach by Feb. 15, when nesting season begins for some protected species that uses the beach as a habitat.“When the owners do not take responsibility for removing their property from NBC’s beaches, taxpayer money must be used to safely remove the vessel and resulting debris, which directly impacts the base’s ability to meet our mission of supporting and training America’s heroes,” Coronado base information officer Sandy Duchac said. The base can be contacted at (619) 545-7418.
